Just a quick hello from venice! 
First of all nice bar with a nice name at Dublin Airport:

Very nice! And also very nice the view from my room (although we don’t spend that much time in it with all the talks):
Last weekend was a short trip to the south of Ireland. I can recommend Kinsale and Cobh, very nice places. Also lots of scenic routes that make you stop every 5 minutes for pictures.

Unfortunately this weekend is for work, writing papers and needing to read papers before leaving for the Summer School next week.

This weekend was a bank holiday weekend so some people from deri rented a car and went up to Northern Ireland. The result was a really nice trip with some excellent photos.

Now I had some more time to walk around Vienna. Very nice, so far I liked it very much.

It seems to be easy to see the town center: during the week I went for a walk without any guide and was able to see most of the sites. When I was at a monument I could see the dome or some part of another one and just walked there! This went on for almost 3 hours
Not yet time to play tourist but where is a taste 
Last weekend we went to the Cliffs of Moher. A nice picture with the Aran Islands in the background which is a sign of bad weather:
“If you can see the Aran Islands it’s a sign of bad weather
If you can’t see the Aran Islands it is bad weather.”
Just for the weekend
The bus leaves Galway at 1.15h and the plane leaves Dublin around 7.30. It’s gonna be a long night!
If all goes well I should be home before lunch time!
On Friday, dinner at Comes in Évora (around 20.00h) or coffee afterwords!!
